Durability Dash - IRG54 Fun Run/Walk
Join IRG54 LOC Chair Jeff Morrell and a cast of characters for the 2023 Durability Dash - previously known as the IRG meeting Fun Run or Fun Walk.
A great way for some exercise and fun, the Durability Dash is open to all ages and skills. Whether you run or walk, or find some other way to move along, you're most welcome to participate. Entry is FREE, but we request that you fill out the Entry Form available below and email that to Jeff Morrell as soon as possible.
Starting point: Meet outside the front entrance to the Pullman Cairns International Hotel
Starting time: Meet at 6:00 am (0600). It'll be "winter" in the tropics so pleasantly warm then.
Date: Monday, May 29, 2023 Plenty of time to participate and then get ready for the Opening Session of IRG54
Route: After a short walk to the foreshore footpath to start. The course will head north along the footpath and then return along the same route. The course will be marked with chalk and there are no road crossings. Total distance is approximately 5km, although can be less if one turns prior to official turning point.
