Architects work in the development of ideas around buildings and all the nuclei where human activity is generated. It is a work of organization of matter, in time and space, where the conceptual world of ideas and the aspirations of inventions, the interior world interact with the exterior in many kinds of realities. But as architects, we have always been interested in why and how things have been produced and that we make a synthesis, beautiful and poetic. This is happening now with the new valorization of wood as an ecological and sustainable material. The limits of this traditional building material are being sought to give new meanings to healthier and friendlier environment. Wood is a renewable biocompatible material, a carbon sink, with excellent physical and mechanical properties. It is the ideal answer to energy efficiency in construction and there is no excuse for not continuing to work on it in architecture, but always organized and in tune with a team of experts in this material and its derivatives to find adaptive building solutions that meet the needs of our clients. Adaptative Building Solutions fulfilling the net-zero objective that today's societies require and demand. Enormous progress has been made in wood structures, in finishing and in some timid facades. However, it is an apt material to become the protagonist of a facade that responds to that adaptive tectonic section that is already being sought with other materials lacking the eco-compatible meaning of wood: the wood active façades.
