IRG52 will be held during May 9-13, 2021 in Numazu City, Japan. The two previous IRG conference in Japan were IRG22 in 1991 in Kyoto, and IRG32 in 2001 in Nara, both of which were World Heritage cities.
Why is this meeting in Numazu?
The answer is Mt. Fuji, the highest peak in Japan (3776m), which symbolizes Japan, has been registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, named "Mt. Fuji-the faith mount and the source of art". Numazu city is blessed with natural beauty, including a breathtaking view of Mt. Fuji rising majestically over Suruga Bay. In addition, you can enjoy the Numazu fishing port, shops and restaurants, and the holy land of Anime.
Viewing highlights in the region around Numazu that you will visit include the Fuji Sengen shrine, the Fuji World Heritage Museum, Shiraito (thousands of streams) falls, the paved mountain road up towards Mt Fuji, and the Gotenba Restaurant and Brewery with all-you-can-eat & drink buffet.

Posters
Poster papers and posters will be a part of the IRG52 meeting. Deadline for posters is April 15, 2021.

Companions program
Information on the Companions Program for IRG52 will be available on the IRG52 website when it becomes available.
Those who intend to present a paper or a poster at an IRG Scientific Conference are requested to prepare their papers and posters in accordance with the following templates:
A full scientific paper is intended for an oral presentation and will in the program have a time slot of 15 minutes + question time.
A communication paper can be less formal and not necessarily strictly follow the format of a scientific paper or scientific poster. A communication paper can be a few paragraphs of narratives of a subject matter including, but not limited to, literature reviews, new ideas/thoughts, observations, communications between different parties, cooperation, results, discussions, processes.
A communication paper is intended for either an oral presentation (15 min + questions) or for a short oral (3 min + 2-3 slides) + poster presentation in the poster session.
